How To Avoid Weight Gain On Vacation For People Healthy?
The idea of dieting while on vacation has the potential to infuriate people. WHY? Why on earth would anyone go on a diet on vacation?
Well ... if you're like me and think that a diet is more of a lifestyle change than a quick fix, then stick around and I'll share my vacation diet tips with you!
Here are my top 5 tips for maintaining your healthy lifestyle while on vacation:
1. Stop your consumption of alcohol:
Alcohol has been called the “weight gain steroid” and it is true. But if you want to be fitter and healthier, you should stop drinking alcohol.
2. Rent a bike:
Cycling is a great form of exercise, extremely fun, and a pleasant and environmentally friendly mode of transportation. Bike rental is also very affordable in most parts of the world. Do I have to say more?
3. Use your legs:
Some of my best vacation memories are just wandering around and exploring wherever I am on foot. You would be surprised how long you can walk without feeling like you've exercised. When I got home I realized I had spent 7 hours wandering the streets of Dhaka.
4. Spend gourmet evenings:
I like candies. Ice creams, chocolate bars, cakes, cupcakes ... the list goes on. It's perfectly fine to try local specialties wherever you go, but if you want to maintain your healthy lifestyle, try limiting your intake of sweets or at least planning “cheat meals” or “cheat meals”. gourmet nights ”; this way you can taste a variety of local produce in just one meal and get back on track the next day.
5. Dinner at the restaurant:
My restaurant dining guidelines work in all scenarios, not just on vacation. Did you know that restaurants generally use a lot of butter, cream, oil and salt in their dishes? They have to make the food taste AMAZING so that customers keep coming back. There are always healthier options available when ordering. If you go out to dinner every night, the calories will add up. That's why I suggest ordering soup and salad instead of that giant bowl of creamy pasta every now and then.
I don't want to sound like a buzzkill, so do whatever you want with this trick, I order soup/salad 80% of the time and choose something a little more naughty 20% of the time. As I mentioned earlier, it's a lifestyle change rather than a diet!
